Earn an Online Accounting
Degree
Accounting has always
been a stable occupation. Government analysts expect the profession
to grow faster than the average over the next ten years. The reason
is an increase in the number of new businesses, constant changes
in tax laws, and increased scrutiny of business accounts in the
wake of many scandals. Median salaries are currently about $50,700.

accounting and internal auditing. Management accountants work on

Internal auditors check financial books for accuracy, fraud, and
waste. Public accountants are often consultants for companies, individuals
or nonprofit agencies. They offer advice on tax matters, asset management
and even subjects like employee health care expenses.
To become a Certified
Public Accountant, you must pass examinations and meet certain educational
